I am using SmartStream to impose images 21-up, and a Spread Element file that should appear in the background. Instead, the spead element file shows up 3 times in the final outut file (PDF).

When I open the final output PDF, I have to 2 of the spread elements off of the top of the imposed 21-up images before sending to the press.

The Spread Element file is an InDesign document containing one placed PDF file on page one. The Master A and Master Npone pages are blank.

Also, It doesn't seem do have anything to do with the InDesign document, because if I use the same spread element in PDF format, I ge the same result.

Anybody know how to fix this problem?
