Hello,
We have a CP Bourg BB3002 PUR binding machine and we do a lot of work as subcontractor for digital printers. We have done a lot of binding on Igen, Nexpress, paper with UV varnish, laminated pages ... and we never had any problem.
We have a new customer that just bought a Indigo 7000 and we have many trouble binding their books. Is there something special with Indigo Ink ? Maybe they have a paper problem because it scratches very easilly.
Same problem with laminating. We have a special Nylon film (from DK) that is perfect for Kodak Nexpress and Xerox Igen. Even on folded pages (for book covers) there is no problem. But with the indigo print the finish is not as perfect as it is with Nexpress. Is there something special to know when laminating on Indigo print ?
We are using the same parameters as the once for the kodak prints : 115°c.
If someone have some advices for binding and laminating Indigo prints it would help us a lot.
Thanks
